Frequently asked questions.

When is the latest I can RSVP?

January 15th, 2025.

Please RSVP by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP by the given date, we will assume that you are unable to attend. Events have personalized seating arrangements and all guests will be invited to wedding, but only some guests from wedding party will be included in Bach day.

Can I bring a plus one/guest date?

Due to limited venue space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my kids?

Kids are optional. However, we encourage to use this as a vacation for yourself! Just a reminder on the Bach day, kids are not allowed on the boat. But we still love your kids!

What time should I arrive to the wedding day?

Transportation will be provided on wedding day. Pickup to venue will be at 4pm at hotel lobby. Transportation back to hotel will be at 10pm from wedding venue.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Yes, the theme is garden wedding! The dress code is Cocktail Attire (semi-formal). Click here for dress code inspo for ALL events!

What we recommend for men: a nice button up with a tie and dress shoes. What we recommend for women: cocktail dresses, or nice jumpsuits. Summertime colors are encouraged. For more questions or inspiration, ask the bride.

On the wedding day will there be food/open bar?

Yes and yes!! Food will be buffet style mixed with international and Thai cuisine. Cocktail hour will be the first 2 hours and then after dinner there will be open bar til we leave.

**please in your rsvp let us know of any allergies so we can tell the chef.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Everything will be outdoors. Keep in mind April is hot tropical season.

What should I do before the trip?

Before you book your hotel and flights, please look at your passport’s expiration date. You cannot travel within 6 months of your expiration date. Please keep in mind it can take around 2 to 8 weeks for a new passport to arrive. No visa is required to travel to Thailand. If you plan on visiting another Asian country after Thailand don’t forget to look up their entry policies.

Are there direct flights to Phuket?

Unfortunately, no. Phuket is a smaller island and requires connecting flights. This is your chance to catch up on sleep/movies or take sedative drugs responsibly. Our advice is to explore another adjacent country/island after Phuket since you will already be on the other side of the world.

What are 10 fun things to do in Phuket?

  1. Visit an Elephant sanctuary

  2. Get a thai massage

  3. Watch a Thai boxing match

  4. Visit big Buddha

  5. Beaches: Karon Noi Beach, Freedom Beach or Patong beach(2 min walk from our hotel)

  6. Meditate at a temple

  7. Take a Thai cooking class

  8. Take a boat to Phi Phi islands

  9. Go to Phuket FantaSea(theme park)

  10. You can use viator.com or klook.com to have an agency plan an excursion (island hopping, snorkeling, ATVs, jet skis, etc)

How do you get around the island?

The hotel we chose is walkable to the beach and restaurants, but if you want to explore the island use the Grab app. There is no Uber. If you Tuktuk or use taxi drivers, they will scam you so negotiate price before driving! Don’t accept the first price they give you, haggle it down. They might persuade you to go to a jewelry store, clothing store etc. they get commission when they bring new customers to the store.

What is the form of currency?

Baht. $1 is around 35 baht. They take most credit cards. You can exchange money at the airport but probably will be more expensive. The mall is reliable to exchange.

What should I NOT do in Thailand?

Drink the tap water even the ice or uncooked foods like salads and raw meat. You will probably need Imodium if you do this. But cooked street food is yummy.

What if I can’t make it?

We wish you could come and will be missed! But we understand. Please let us know in the rsvp so we can plan accordingly, all of our events require notice.

If you have any other questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to ask the bride or groom.
